Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients. Works with physicians and other professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of care.

Maintains competency within the full scope of nursing practice, adheres to state regulations, and participates in care coordination, education, triage, and various nursing interventions to support patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs; multi-state licensure may apply.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and other inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient assessment, education, triage and nursing interventions within the scope of practice.
