Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients. Collaborates with physicians and other professionals to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adheres to standards and ethics in all patient interactions. Contract positions are 14 weeks with the option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of nursing experience.
• At least six months of travel nursing experience.
• Must live at least 60 miles from the assignment location.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to plan and provide individualized care.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional teams to evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient education, triage, and nursing interventions.
• Adhere to state practice acts, standards, and ethical guidelines.
