American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Night Shift RN to work in the ED Observation unit requiring step-down/PCU experience and a CO or compact RN license. The role includes a 3x12 night schedule (1900-0730), rotating weekends, and floating to related units. Epic charting is used; DOB and SSN last four are required for consideration.

The ideal candidate has an ASN (BSN preferred) and current BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certificates. This is a full-time hospital position in Colorado.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work in the ED Observation unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• Rotating weekends required
• Floating to Tele units, Ortho surgical trauma, step-down units as needed
• Use Epic for charting and perform nursing duties per state Board standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients
• Document treatment plans per guidelines

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) that do not expire before start date
• Minimum 1 year of experience in ED Observation or step-down/PCU setting required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the ED Observation unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• Rotating weekends required
• Floating required to other Tele units, Ortho surgical trauma, and acuity adaptable step-down units (e.g., insulin drips, sepsis patients)
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shiftUses Epic for charting
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
• Monitor and review treatment plans and document per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for consideration
