American Traveler is seeking an ED Observation RN for a step-down/PCU unit in a Magnet Hospital. Requires CO or compact license, 1 year of step-down/PCU experience, and current BLS/ACLS/NIHSS credentials. Assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hrs/week, nights, and potential on-call duties.

Embark on a travel assignment with Epic EMR, lodging and meals stipends, and competitive pay. Expectation includes credentialing timelines and on-site facility verification.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; none expiring prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in step-down/PCU nursing required.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ED Observation unit of a hospital setting.
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Perform independent nursing functions per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for observation patients.
