American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night shift position in Massachusetts. You will work 19:00–07:30 on a 13-week assignment, providing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a telemetry unit and interpreting cardiac rhythms.

Epic is used for charting; local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. The role requires an active MA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and mandatory verification processes.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA).
• Primary source verification of license/certification within 30 days.
• NURSYS and Board of Nursing verification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on telemetry unit for patients with life-threatening illness.
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics.
• Administer cardiac meds and telemetry drips.
• Assist with cardioversion and temporary pacemaker insertions.
• Night shift 19:00–07:30; 13-week assignment.
• Use Epic for charting; provide direct nursing care.

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration
• Both NURSYS and Board of Nursing verification required for nursing license
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Responsibilities

• Telemetry unit setting providing care to patients with critical or life-threatening illness
• Cares for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status
• Administers prescribed cardiac medications and telemetry-approved drips
• Assists with emergency and elective cardioversions and temporary pacemaker insertions
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic for charting
• Provides direct nursing care for patients with life-threatening cardiac conditions, recognizing and responding to shock and other emergencies
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeepingNo validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
