Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift travel position requiring 18 months of experience and an active GA or Compact RN license.

Responsibilities include working on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, 3x12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours per week, with no on-call requirements. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles away and travel experience is valued. Compensation and benefits accompany this travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand.
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, NIHSS, and prior travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit on the third floor of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• Former Emory or Houston health system employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility.
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday.
• Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment.
