Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with Telemetry experience for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 18 months of experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit on the Third Floor of a hospital setting
• NOC shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience required
• Travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry-focused nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local candidates are allowed
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days when not near a holiday, or 3 days when falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted
