American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a Telemetry/Float Pool position in California. Active CA RN license and Epic EMR experience required. BLS certification required; BSN preferred.

You will cover Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units on day shifts, 36-48 hours weekly, with housing and licensure reimbursements available.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
• BSN preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Minimum two years of specialty experience required.
• No prior license actions permitted.

Responsibilities

• Float Pool unit requiring coverage of both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week.
• Uses Epic EMR system.
• Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develops and implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, and evaluates patient outcomes.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care.
• Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning.
• Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members.
