Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN for a night shift contract in Maryland. The role requires 2 years of Telemetry experience and MD or Compact RN licensure, with BLS/ACLS/NIHSS/CPI certifications.

You will work on a fast-paced Telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio (up to 1:6 with lower acuity). Shifts are 3x12 or 4x12 (19:00-07:30), with every other weekend. EPIC EMR is used, and travel housing/licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI.
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult and geriatric telemetry patients in a fast-paced unit.
• Maintain patient ratio of 1:5 (1:6 with lower acuity).
• Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00-07:30).
• Weekly 4 weekends per schedule; floating to sister facilities as needed.
• Uses EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Fast-paced, high-volume Telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with multiple, complex diagnoses
• Patient ratio of 1:5, up to 1:6 with lower acuity patients
• Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00-07:30)
• Every other weekend required (4 weekends in a schedule)
• Floating required within specialty and like units of equal or lesser acuity, including to a sister facility as needed
• No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Royal Blue scrubs required
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• All RTO must be submitted at time of offer; RTO not accepted during fall/winter holiday weeks
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
