American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for Telemetry in California. The role requires at least one year of Med/Tele experience and drip management expertise in a community hospital setting.

The position features a day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), a 3x12 schedule, and travel-friendly benefits including housing allowances and licensure reimbursements. Candidates with travel nursing experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualificações

• Active California RN license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year of Med/Tele experience.
• Minimum two years of overall nursing experience.
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation including common arrhythmias (A-fib, A-flutter, SVT, VT, PVCs, PACs).
• Experience initiating, titrating, monitoring drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Lasix, Insulin, Heparin).
• Community hospital experience required; teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II preferred.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred; prior travel nursing experience required.
• Two supervisor references obtained within the past year.

Responsabilidades

• Work in the Telemetry unit of an acute care hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Patient ratio of 1:5.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• Assess, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care in an acute care setting.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families for effective communication and care transitions.
• Adhere to hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements to optimize patient experience.
• Holiday coverage required for major holidays; maximum RTO of 7 days; returning staff/travelers must have one-year separation before reapplying.
• Local candidates within 50-mile radius at local rate; first-time travelers considered.

• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at local rate
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
