Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia. The Step Down Unit RN will provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from ICU, handling arrhythmias, chest pain, and post-procedure care on night shifts.

This 13‑week travel assignment requires 36 hours per week, 12‑hour nights, with rotating weekends and possible float to med-surg units.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license (RN) in good standing and able to submit license
• Willingness to wait for license processing
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in Step Down Unit with a focus on safety and clinical acuity
• Manage patients with arrhythmias, chest pain, and post‑procedure status
• Readily participate in a flexible, self‑scheduled rotation and float to med-surg as needed
