Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The role requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS, and 18 months of Acute Care PCU/Step-Down experience. Travel; 13 weeks; 36 hours per week; 12-hour nights.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes; apply the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from care team and document nursing diagnoses.
• Document the plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions; educate patient and family; update plan as care evolves.
