Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, West Virginia. You will work in an 18-bed Step Down unit with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio and night shifts, delivering high-quality care to patients with complex cardiovascular and post-operative conditions.

ACLS/BLS required, NIHSS certification preferred, and a valid RN license with 2+ years in a step-down or similar unit. Housing options, health insurance, and travel benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and ACLS/BLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN Step Down or similar unit experience.
• Night shifts with 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
• Active license to submit; NIHSS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for post-MI, heart failure, post-op vascular patients in Step Down unit.
• Titrate drips and monitor telemetry.
• Maintain 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio and document in EPIC.
