Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour nights, weekends as scheduled, and travel employment status.

The RN will join a Step Down Unit, monitor patients post-interventions, titrate IV drips, and collaborate with the care team to manage complex conditions, ensuring patient recovery and comfort.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with post-MI patients, postoperative vascular care, GI bleeds, and DKA preferred.
• Ability to read telemetry strips effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient status and vital signs throughout the shift.
• Administer medications and titrate intravenous drips as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
