Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The position is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights. Requirements include an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS, and 18 months of recent acute care PCU/Step-down experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and signs/symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Documents the plan of care using nursing diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets patient data and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education.
• Revises and documents the care plan based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.
