Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour day and night shifts.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and a BLS certification, with at least 18 months of acute care PCU/step-down experience. Travel benefits and support are offered by MedPro.

BLS certification.
18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs, signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes; use nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members; document nursing diagnoses.
Document the plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
Revise and document the plan of care as evaluation and medical plans change.
