Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Weirton, West Virginia. The position requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification with at least 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms; use nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze and document data and nursing diagnoses; communicate plan of care.
• Document plan of care with diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions; evaluate changes.
• Educate patients and families; revise plan of care as needed.
