Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN for an inpatient behavioral health unit in Murfreesboro, TN. The role requires 2+ years of psych experience, BLS and Handle with Care certification, and an active RN license in TN or a Compact state.

The 13-week assignment features day 12-hour shifts, potential float to all units, and travel housing and licensure reimbursements. First-time travelers may be considered for placement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TN or Compact).
• BLS certification required.
• Handle with Care certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient behavioral health unit serving a blended patient population including adolescents, seniors, adults (high and low acuity), ages 8 and up, adult IDD units, and physical rehab units
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts with weekends and holidays as assigned
• Floating to all units as needed
• No blocked booking
• Provide direct nursing care across a diverse behavioral health patient population
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for placement consideration
• First-time travelers may be considered
