Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN - Psychiatric for a 13-week Behavioral Health assignment in Iowa. Requires compact or IA RN license, BLS, NIHSS, and at least one year of RN experience.

The role will be on a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with ETW/EOH coverage and a 60-mile radius consideration for Trinity Health facilities. COVID vaccination documentation is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact or Iowa)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum one year of RN experience required
• Current license verification through Nursys required

Responsibilities

• Psychiatric 5E behavioral health unit
• 13-week contract assignment
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every third weekend and every other holiday coverage
• Provide direct patient care within a behavioral health setting
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most Trinity Health locations
• Some Trinity Health facilities do not accept local candidates or have different radius requirements
• COVID vaccination documentation required for consideration
