Job summary
American Traveler Staffing Professionals is actively seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU role in Columbus, OH. The position requires 2+ years in CVPICU/PICU within a pediatric hospital and an OH or Compact RN license, with BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials.
Expect floating to NICU, PICU, ED and other units as needed for patient care. Compensation reflects a weekly pay model, with detailed breakdowns provided by the recruiter; excellent benefits and support are emphasized.
Qualifications
- 2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience in a pediatric hospital.

- IV therapy, central line care, and arterial line management required.
- Two supervisory references required; at least one manager/supervisor.

- Minimum 2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience required in a pediatric hospital setting (hard stop requirement)
- Experience with ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and care of ventilated patients required
- Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
- Experience with IV therapy, central line care, and arterial line management requiredTwo supervisory references required at time of consideration, at least one must be manager/supervisor titled
- ECMO, CRRT, and VAD (LVAD/RVAD) experience preferred
- Provide critical care nursing to pediatric cardiovascular patients including those with congenital heart disease and post-cardiac surgery needs
- Floating to other units is a strong expectation and point of emphasis for this facility
- Candidates must not have worked in a permanent role for this facility within the last 2 years
- No local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius
