Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a CVICU RN for a night shift in Indianapolis, IN. Shift is 19:00–07:30, 3x12s, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment. Requires active RN license (IN or Compact), BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year of experience with Impella, IABP and LVAD.

You will care for cardiac ICU patients including devices, with 2:1 patient ratios. NxStage experience preferred and Nursys verification within 30 days of start is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA required).
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Required experience with Impella, IABP, and LVAD devices.
• NxStage experience preferred.
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing for cardiac ICU patients.
• Care for patients with devices (Impella, IABP, LVAD) and manage complex cardiovascular cases.
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to ICU protocols.

• Cardiac ICU caring for both cardiac medical ICU patients and cardiac/thoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients
• 2:1 patient ratios including patients with devices such as Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment
