American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Pediatric ICU RN for a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma Center in Texas. Requires at least 2 years PICU experience and BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications. 24-bed PICU with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios and a 13-week assignment from early morning shifts.

Active Texas RN license (or compact) and Nursys verification within 30 days are required, along with primary source verification within 30 days. Local candidates may be affected by radius pay rules; Navy scrubs are expected.

Formación

• Active TX RN license or compact license in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA required).
• Minimum 2 years PICU experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care in a 24-bed high acuity PICU at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Care for neurology, renal, pulmonary, surgical and medical ICU patients.
• Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on status.
• Work 13-week assignment with 06:45–19:15 shifts.
• Float to CVICU, NICU and North Campus PICU as needed.
• Deliver high-acuity critical care nursing to pediatric patients.
• Navy scrubs required; pediatric print tops allowed.
• Radius rule may affect pay rate for locals.
• First-time travelers may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 24-bed high acuity, fast-paced PICU at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Patient population includes neurology, renal, pulmonary, surgical, and medical ICU cases
• Patient ratios vary by shift: 1:1 or 1:2 for ICU status
• 13-week assignment with a scheduled shift of 06:45-19:15
• Floating required to CVICU, NICU, and North Campus 12-bed PICU as needed
• Provide high-acuity critical care nursing to pediatric ICU patients
• Navy scrubs required; pediatric print tops allowed
• Radius rule applies and may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
