Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13-week Stepdown assignment in Kansas City, MO. Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in MO in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry and cardiac rhythms, interpreting data and responding to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history, assessments, and patient responses to interventions.
• Educates patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
