Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a travel assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. This position requires an active RN license and current BLS certification, with 18 months of Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

You will work 12-hour nights on a 13-week assignment, with housing support and travel benefits provided. Weekly pay is available, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collect, analyze and document data and nursing diagnoses.
• Document plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document the plan of care as conditions change.
