Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Round Rock, TX. You will care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with emphasis on telemetry, cardiac care, and collaborative team delivery.

This role requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, with PCCN/NIHSS preferred. Travel pay and benefits are provided, with opportunities to work with a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Remains vigilant for patient safety and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team.
