Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Atlanta, GA. The role emphasizes care for patients moving from ICU to medical-surgical units, with 12-hour day shifts and a 48-hour work week.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of Stepdown RN experience, current RN license, BLS and ACLS; PCCN/NIHSS certifications are a plus. Travel pay and comprehensive benefits apply, with strong clinical team support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and patient status.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Supports cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety in telemetry units.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
