Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts and focuses on telemetry and cardiac care.

Required qualifications include one year of Stepdown RN experience, current RN license, BLS and ACLS. PCCN and NIHSS certifications are preferred. You’ll join a supportive clinical team and enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs, responds to abnormalities
Administers medications and treatments per nursing standards with focus on cardiac care
Assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations
Maintains telemetry patient comfort and safety
Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
Educates patients on cardiac health and risk factors
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care
Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
