Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel assignment in Youngstown, Ohio. Start date 10/05/2026, duration 13 weeks, 36 hours/week, nights on 12-hour shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Immediate assignment with a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency. Requirements include an Active RN License, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Nurses monitor patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment, including cardiac and other vital signs.
• PCU nurses detect changes and intervene in life-threatening or emergency situations, including titration of complex medications.
