Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Youngstown, Ohio. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, focusing on telemetry and cardiac care.

The candidate will monitor rhythms, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, patient-centered care while supporting continued professional growth.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience is preferred for this role.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, detect abnormalities, and respond promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physician during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiate patient education plans focused on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
