Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN PCU for an Englewood, Colorado assignment. The role runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, offering travel benefits and comprehensive support from our clinical team.

The Stepdown RN will monitor cardiac rhythms, manage medications, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic travel setting.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Assists with cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains awareness of safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health.
