Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for PCU in Oregon, OH for a 13-week assignment. You will work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, delivering specialized care to patients transitioning from higher acuity to medical-surgical units.

Qualifications include 1 year in stepdown, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. This travel role offers competitive pay and benefits, with support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data, responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications with focus on cardiac care.
• Assists with cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
