Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia.

The role requires 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week, rotating days and nights, and may involve floating to telemetry or medical-surgical units. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and a minimum of 2 years in the PCU are preferred, with licensure readiness and within 50 miles of the posting location.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license to submit; willing to wait for licensure.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU or similar unit.
• Must reside within 50 miles of a Wheeling, WV facility.

Responsibilities

• Float rotation may be required to telemetry or medical-surgical units.
• Titrate IV drips and monitor cardiac rhythms as needed.
• Respond to emergent patient needs and interpret telemetry strips.
• Provide care for chest pain, arrhythmias, and post-procedure patients.
