Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU in Wheeling, West Virginia for a 13-week assignment. The PCU RN will work 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, with a travel employment type. Immediate opening with 1–2 years acute care experience required and ACLS/BLS/NIH certifications encouraged.

As a PCU Travel Nurse, you will monitor cardiac and other vitals, titrate medications, and respond to emergencies. You’ll perform bedside care, manage lines, and support a fast-paced unit with a focus on

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.
• PCU/step-down care experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 12-hour night shifts and be flexible with travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Monitor and interpret monitors and electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data indicates changes.
