Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia. The position includes 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, with travel employment through TotalMed RN.

The PCU RN will monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond to changes in condition in a fast-paced environment. ACSL, BLS are required; 1-2 years of acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Travel assignment in Morgantown, WV.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication.
• Monitor specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptoms.
