Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Helena, MT. The role focuses on patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units with ongoing telemetry monitoring and coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• PCCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, notifies supervisor or physician of cardiac status.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
