Job summary

Cross Country Nurses in Helena, Montana is seeking a Travel RN with Stepdown experience to join our team for a 13-week assignment. You will cover 12-hour night shifts and float across medical, stepdown, ICU, surgical and oncology units as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a valid RN license, 2+ years in stepdown, current BLS and ACLS, and prior travel nursing experience. Epic EMR experience is preferred. Compensation includes a tax-free stipend and housing options.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of stepdown experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic.
• Ability to float across medical, stepdown, ICU, and surgical/oncology units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a step-down unit.
• Float across med/surg, ICU, and specialty units as needed.
• Support shift coverage for nights, 12 hours each.
• Adapt to varying patient needs and collaborate with care teams.
