Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Travel RN for the PCU in Denver, CO. This 13‑week contract features day shifts, 12 hours per day, 3 days per week, with a weekly stipend and base pay. Start date approximately 9/30/2026, onsite at a 45-bed unit with 90 staff, including med-surg and cardiac care.

Required PCU experience, BLS/ACLS/NIH certifications, and Meditech familiarity. Cardiac/ICU experience preferred; NIH certification highlights strong credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience.
• BLS, ACLS and NIH Certification.
• Cardiac and ICU experience preferred.
• Prior Meditech experience.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac drips and cardiac catheters.
• Chest tube management, wound care and TPN/lipids.
• Monitor and treat PCU patients; collaborate with care team and document care.
• Provide support and adapt to unit procedures as ordered.

Day Shift – 1 charge, 9-10 RNs, 4-5 MSTs

Night Shift – 1 charge, 9-10 RNS, 4-5 MSTs

Patient Ratios – 4-5 Days/Nights

Type of equipment – Lifts, dynamap, cardiac monitoring equipment

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role:

Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience
