Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU role in North Carolina. Active NC or Compact RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS are required to join the surgical services recovery team.

The position features an 18-week assignment with weekly rotating 10- and 12-hour shifts starting at 0645, along with on-call duties and travel/licensure reimbursements. You will work in a hospital recovery room and collaborate with the nursing administration.

Qualifications

• Active RN license NC or Compact currently in hand.
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Prior PACU nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically competent nursing care in the hospital's recovery room.
• Work with the surgical services nursing team within the hospital's nursing administration structure.
• Shift schedule alternates weekly between 10-hour and 12-hour shifts, starting at 0645.
• On-call responsibilities are required for this position.
