Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU role in Georgia. The ideal candidate holds an active GA or Compact RN license and has at least 18 months of PACU experience. Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility.

Work is in a hospital PACU with day 12-hour shifts and a 13-week contract. Some internal transfer rules apply for former Emory or Houston staff, and holiday time off follows specific limits. Competitive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• RTO is limited to 5 days per contract; around holidays, limits reduce to 3 days.
• Only one holiday RTO request allowed; holiday RTO must be spread out.

• Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted, and RTO during holiday periods must be spread out – consecutive holiday days off will not be approved
