American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab unit in Kentucky. Must hold KY or Compact RN licensure with BLS/ACLS certification. ADN/ASN is required, BSN preferred.

Experience in PACU, recovery, cardiac, telemetry, or ICU is preferred. Position features second shift 3x12 hour days (8:30a–9p), Mon–Fri, with holiday coverage as needed. Local candidates within 75 miles may receive a lower rate.

Formación

• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Annual dysrhythmia competency validation and NIHSS certification required.
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work in Cardiac Cath Lab supporting Cath Lab, EP Lab, and CV Observation services.
• Care for cardiac patient population including caths, angioplasty, interventions, ablations, devices, TEEs, and cardioversions.
• Observe unit supports pre- and post-operative patient care.
• Second shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 8:30a-9p, Monday-Friday.
• Holiday coverage as needed.
• Provide direct patient care including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for cardiac patients.
• Collaborate with interprofessional care team to coordinate individualized treatment plans.
• Delegate and oversee patient care tasks performed by other team members.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures.
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility; local candidates accepted at a lower rate.

• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
• Strong computer systems knowledge or ability to be trained
• Last 4 digits of SSN and month/day of date of birth required for consideration
