Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab role in a fast-paced hospital setting. The position requires an active CT or compact RN license and proven Cath Lab and ICU experience.

Responsibilities include working across invasive cardio labs, ICU, CCU, and ER coverage with on-call rotations on weekends/holidays for STEMI and stroke cases. Travel-friendly, eligible first-time travelers welcome, within 60 miles at reduced rates.

Qualifications

• Active CT or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Required experience in both Cath Lab and ICU settings.
• CCU and ER experience preferred.
• Two professional references from a manager or above within the current discipline/specialty, rated standard or above average

Responsibilities

• Work in the Invasive Cardio Lab, including Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, CCU, and ER coverage
• Day shift schedule (8.5 hours), either Monday through Friday or a mix of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts
• Covers on-call shifts on weekends and holidays for cases such as STEMI and acute neuroendovascular strokes
• On-call coverage is staffed with two RNs per shift
• Perform daily invasive cardiac procedures and support coverage across ICU, CCU, and ER as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergent cardiac and stroke cases
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Returning travelers with prior employment at this health system are subject to an eligibility review process
