American Traveler is seeking a night shift RN for a 18-bed CCU. Requires KY or compact RN license with BLS/ACLS certification. ADN/ASN required, BSN preferred. No prior experience required. Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• No prior experience required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency administering medications and performing procedures such as wound care and IV therapy
• Last 4 digits of SSN and month/day of date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• 18-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU) setting
• Cares for critical care patients at a 1:2 ratio and telemetry patients at a 1:4 ratio
• Patient population ranges from young adults to geriatrics
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 0.9 FTE position
• Implements professional nursing practice centered on patient-focused, holistic care
• Performs comprehensive assessments, develops care plans, and coordinates treatment with the interdisciplinary team
• Facilitates admission, transfer, and discharge processes, including patient and family education
• Delegates and oversees tasks performed by other care team members
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and core measure monitoring
• Must reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility; local candidates accepted at a lower pay rate
