The role works in the Cardiac Cath Lab department of a cardiology unit, with a day shift of 7:30a-4p, 40 hours per week, and the ability to provide comprehensive patient care from admission to discharge.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab department of a cardiology unit specializing in heart health and cardiovascular treatments
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:30a-4p
• 40 hours per week
• Call required
• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab including assessment, treatment, and care coordination throughout admission, transfer, and discharge
• Collaborate with inter-professional care team members and delegate tasks appropriately
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
