Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position in Bellevue, WA. The role requires scrubbing and circulating skills and travel nursing experience.

You will work 4x10 shifts, 06:45-17:15, with call requirements of 1-2 overnight shifts per week and 1-2 weekend shifts per month. Cases include CABGs, valve replacements, aneurysm repairs, and thoracic surgeries including robotic lobectomies and TAVRs.

Qualifications

• Active WA state or compact RN license in hand.
• CVOR experience with scrubbing and circulating.
• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Current AHA certifications.
• EPIC EMR experience.

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Required AHA certifications must be current
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating for complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases

Responsibilities

• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit within a hospital setting
• 4x10 day shift schedule, 06:45-17:15
• Call requirements include 1-2 overnight shifts per week and 1-2 weekend shifts per month
• Must perform both scrubbing and circulating duties
• Cases include CABGs, valve replacements, aneurysm repairs, thoracic surgeries (including robotic lobectomies), and TAVRs
• Floating within the hospital may be required based on patient care needs
• Required orientation modules are completed and signed off by facility managers, typically taking 8-12 hours
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as non-local travelers
• Travel pairs accepted
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, which must be disclosed at time of submission
• Former staff must be separated from the facility or system for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
