Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a CVOR position in Washington requiring WA State/Compact RN licensure and prior CVOR experience.

The role focuses on cardiovascular operating room care, with an 3x12s AM shift (06:30-19:00), on-call duties, and opportunities to float as needed. Comprehensive benefits and travel support are included.

Qualifications

• Active WA State or Compact RN license is required.
• CVOR experience is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Must adhere to facility policies and unit-specific standards of practice.
• Must function within the Washington Nurse Practice Act

Responsibilities

• Surgery unit within a hospital setting.
• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) specialty.
• AM shift schedule, 3x12s, 36 hrs/week, 06:30-19:00.
• 30 minute meal break included.
• On-call responsibilities required.
• May be required to float in rotation, including as a sitter.
• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit standards.
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments.
• Perform holistic ongoing assessments and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.
• Educate patients and families on relevant health information in a timely manner.
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment according to hospital and unit policies.
• Participate in ongoing performance evaluation and improvement processes
