Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for Operating Room duties in Colorado. The position requires a CO or compact RN license and BLS, with night shifts (3x12s, 1900–0700).

The role includes potential departmental floats, use of Epic for documentation, and adherence to nursing standards. ASN required; BSN preferred, with background check and drug screening prior to start.

Qualifications

• Active CO or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required and must not expire prior to start date.
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification may be required as appropriate for the unit.
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting.
• Schedule consists of 3x12hr night shifts, 1900 to 0700, weeknights only.
• No weekend requirements.
• No on-call requirements.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation.
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients.
• Perform health teaching and counseling, and monitor treatment plans.
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Background check and drug screening required, with results typically taking at least 2 weeks.
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment.
