American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position in North Carolina with 1–2 years of OR experience and NC or compact licensure. The role requires active RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, additional certifications, and Nursys verification.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CPI/HWC/MAB certifications required.
• 1–2 years of OR nursing experience required.
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration.
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration.
• Copies of required certifications must be provided.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room across all age groups.
• Work in a Surgery Unit within an acute care hospital setting.
• Operate in OR specialty with dedicated RN experience (not a floor unit).
• Maintain Cerner EMR exposure on a 3-bed unit.
• Day shift from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with every-other weekend coverage.
• Prepare for call: 12 shifts per month and one weekend per month, 30-minute response.
• Floating to needed areas and reporting to the Director of Surgical Services.
• Scrub duties included; casual attire not permitted.
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility for travel rate.
• Travelers cannot have worked as permanent staff at LifePoint facilities in past 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment.
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays.
