Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in the United States. The role requires at least 2 years of OR experience and ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

Active Florida or compact RN licensure is required, with CNOR preferred. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with 8-hour shifts from 06:30 to 15:00 and an on-call schedule including weekends and weekdays. Travelers must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.

Qualifications

Must hold active FL or compact RN license.
Minimum 2 years of prior OR experience in a US hospital.
Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS (AHA only).
CNOR certification preferred.
Two manager or supervisor references within last 12 months preferred, at least one from most recent employer.

Responsibilities

Perform scrubbing and/or circulating duties in the OR for operative procedures.
Thirteen-week assignment with 8-hour shifts from 0630 to 1500.
On-call requirement: 7 shifts over six weeks, including 3 weekends and 4 weekdays.
Work 40 hours per week.
Admit patients to the operative suite and ensure aseptic techniques and standards are followed.

Responsibilities

Operating room setting performing scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures
13-week assignment with 8-hour shifts scheduled 0630-1500
On-call requirement of 7 call shifts over a six-week period, including 3 weekend and 4 weekday shifts
40 hours per week
Responsible for department admissions to the operative suite and adherence to standards and aseptic techniques
Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans
Serves as a communication liaison between patients, families, and the operating team
Prepares the operating room for patients and surgical procedures
Assembles equipment and supplies, ensuring functionality and availability of implants
Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
