American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Michigan. The role requires 2 years of OR experience and an active MI license, with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Travel nursing experience is preferred, and a skills checklist must be completed within the past year. Work will be in a hospital OR with 13 rooms, featuring a hybrid setup for vascular and cardiac procedures. Shifts are 12-hour days, three days a week, with on-call Wednesdays.

Formación

• Active MI RN license required at time of consideration (no compact license accepted).
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a hospital Operating Room with 13 OR rooms.
• Hybrid OR equipped for complex vascular and less-invasive cardiac procedures.
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts (0648-1918), 3 days per week.
• No weekend requirements.
• On-call required Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM.
• Hospital-provided scrubs.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care across the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the patient age continuum served by the unit.
• Facility is a regional leader in open heart surgery.
• Must reside within a 35-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the full travel rate.
• Full-time employees of the health system are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date.
• No more than 5 days of requested time off allowed during the assignment.
