Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Circulating OR position in Michigan. The role requires an active MI RN license and at least 2 years of OR experience across multiple surgical specialties. Candidates must be able to circulate and handle Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro cases.

The position is a full-time opportunity with days 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, rotating weekends and on-call. Paragon EMR is used; hospital scrubs are provided.

Qualifications

• MI RN license is required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• 2+ years of OR experience required
• Must be able to circulate in OR settings
• Experience with Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro cases

Responsibilities

• Work in a 7-suite Surgical Department offering a full spectrum of general and gynecological surgical specialties, excluding open-heart surgery
• Days shift, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
• Rotating weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements
• Uses Paragon EMR
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Deliver quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing practice standards
• Follow medical center policies, mission, and professional/regulatory practice standards
• References are not required for consideration
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
• Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers subject to reduced travel rates
• Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment

• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
